Two of the so-called 'fans' have been banned from the Palace in Auburn Hills, scene of the infamous Basketbrawl. Glad to hear it. This type of bozo does not need to be allowed to spoil the fun for the rest of us. Interestingly enough, they were also banned from another property affiliated with the Palace, one in which concerts are performed. Considering the fact that "music soothes the savage beast", maybe their season tickets to the Pistons' games should have been exchanged for season tickets to the opera. In the "no-beer" section.
A furor has erupted in some schools about the wearing of cheap plastic (jelly) bracelets. It seems that, if you are wearing one and someone else snaps it off, then you have to perform a sex act on them, the act to be determined by the color of the bracelet. Some parents are actually pulling their daughters out of school in protest. Here's a hint: how about teaching your daughters (and sons, for that matter) that they have the right to say NO, regardless of the color of some cheap jewelry, or any "tradition". And, if you say NO, it means NO, and if someone doesn't respect that, they may find themselves wearing bracelets -- two of them, made of metal, connected to each other by a chain. And, their wardrobe may well include an orange jumpsuit.
Cheers,
