Just FYI, I masked out the years. If I recall, it is not considered a good idea to put full birthdays of living people on publicly-available web sites - it makes ID theft easier 
If Mary, DAT, or Jabe contradict me, I will not do that any more.

No, but it gets very confusing and DAT can explain it much better than I can. You see, for a couple of generations Milton and Francis were both extremely popular names. I know DAT can make it clearer than I can but F.M. Truitt was our great-grandfather that died 12/17/41, Mary Daisy was his wife who had died Jan 1941, and Francis M. is going to be....ok, I'm a little lost there too, but he's from an older generation.
Help, DAT?

Hi all,
I guess I jumped a little ahead and got into the history of our family a little farther back than some of you are familiar with. I hope this helps
John B. Truitt Sr. married 1st Nancy Ross, they had 3 children Elizabeth, William and Weldon. After Nancy's death John B married Amelia Gilbert, their children were- Charles Wesley, John B. Jr., Rebecca, Jane, James Hayden, Eliza Ann, George Hermin,Sameul Gilbert, Thomas G., Milton(father of F.M.), and Francis M. (not our F.M.) .
I have a lot of info on this group and will try to pass it along here but if anyone has questions on something please ask.
The best thing about having this info was finding Mary (or being found by Mary) and Val which lead to finding all the rest of you so this information could be shared. Family history is useless without the family to share it with.
