Here is a photo I took while visiting the Jungle Gardens (Avery Island, LA) on our recent Spring Break trip. Note what is behind the egret!
First, in color:
Now the same one in Blank & White (using the SilverImage Plus-X filter):
Shooting data:
Camera: Canon EOS-10D, 5 IS zoom lens @ 135 mm
Parameters: ISO 100, 1/60 sec & f/6.7, -1/2 stop exposure compensation
Shot in Camera RAW, auto white balance corrected to daylight in PE 3.0.
