Some folks say it is the root of all evil. MMFools (those who participate in Make Money Fast scams) say it is the stuff you will make lots and lots of, with little or no effort. Normally via selling "reports" or "mailing lists" via pyramid schemes. It is an inside joke for those of us who are fans of the Make Money Fast Hall of Humiliation.

OK, technically you are correct. Of course, in that case maybe $$$$MONEY$$$$$ can be expressed as "the love of money" to distinguish it from just plain money.
